Rudolf Meidner's Wage Earner Investment Funds
This book lays out a way of collective capital formation via profit sharing (real profit sharing) and the investment of those profits distributed to the workers is organised in wage earner investment funds. This has nothing to do with the German Investiv-Lohn or Investment Wage as it is sometimes called in English because the profits are collectively appropriated and organised. This is really a form of socialization of investment, the peaceful way to impose worker's control over capital. Numerous papers have taken up the issue. A selection of them can be found on the MIME Site: A Marxian Introduction to Modern Economics and there under Socialisation of Investment: http://mse.paris.free.fr/mime/?page_id=155
Rudolf Meidner's book is a treasure for the labour movement.
